Hey there, I'm Joey! I go to FIT and I work at Office Max with an internship at Jeffrey Campbell. I like buying things, working out, new office supplies, Queen, dancing around in my underwear and bothering my roommate. I also like sleeping in and I've got a pretty bad temper. Yes, I'm small, but I know various forms of self defense so don't try anything or I'll go all kung fu on your ass. I like to take time to stop and smell the roses if you will. The world never ceases to amaze me. I give everything 120%, and I've got lots of goals. I've got a gigantic annoying smile and I always take the high road. ;) I'm not that hard to get along with so let's hang out, yeah?

*RPG purposes only. I'm not Kristen Bell and Joey isn't real.
He who hesitates is a damned fool

Sorry we’ve sort of let this go a bit…

Give us some time to get shit back in order!

Lunch break visit @Roxy

roxy-delaney:

Roxanne laughed at Joey’s imitation of the price tag gun. “At least you aren’t working customer service. Fuck, I’d rather be back to stocking.” She shook her head and started eating her sandwich. “I get off at 5, so yeah I could definitely go for a night out.” It had been awhile since the two had gone out, and it was past due. Roxy thought about what she had clean and realized she had nothing. “I might get a new outfit for tonight.. what do you think?” She hadn’t bought new clothes in a long time, and what better reason than a night out?  ”By the way, our little conversation about Roger is still just between us, right?” Roxy had been worried that Joey would say something to him. She wanted to know how he felt, but she didn’t want to make it obvious that she was interested in him that way. His friendship meant too much to ruin it.

Joey nodded when she said she got off at five. “Cool. I should be back around six.” She said, giving herself some buffer time. Joey pumped her fist into the air. “Yes!” She said, when Roxy said she’d be down for a night out. Joey was already planning her outfit. She made an excited squeal when Roxanne said she was going to get a new outfit. “We totally should have thought ahead of time, then I could’ve gone with.” Joey said, checking her watch. “Unless…” Joey could never resist a shopping trip. “I’ve got like forty minutes left on my break. We could go now!” There was a gleam in her eye and a big smile on her face. Joey loved shopping. Even when they were short on time she couldn’t resist, even though it was probably unrealistic to hope they’d get something good in under a half hour. But Joey had a knack for making things her own, spicing up boring outfits. She could make anything look good if she tried hard enough. Joey raised a brow when Roxy asked about Roger. “Of course it is, goof ball, I’m not gonna tell your secrets.” She assured her. Joey was very loyal to her friends, she didn’t tell their secrets unless it was completely on accident or she was being painfully obvious about it.

Yes, I think this is a rather lovely picture of us, really shows the true colors of our relationship.

I’m not sure what this photo would symbolise but I’m sure it’s good.

Lunch break visit @Roxy

roxy-delaney

Roxy was sitting on a stool behind the customer service counter. She wasn’t supposed to sit down, but it was at the point in the day when there weren’t many customers. Thank God, she had already been yelled at four times by people returning items. She sighed and leaned against the counter. She smelled Joey coming before she saw her, and when the small blonde finally got to her, she was very happy to see that she had brought lunch. “I’m actually going on break right now!” She said, standing up and grabbing the bag from her friend. “Don’t tease me, Joe. I forgot breakfast again this morning.” Roxy laughed and climbed over the counter and headed to the break room, Joey following behind. “So, how has Office Max been treating you today, dear?”

“Sweet.” Joey said, when Roxy said she was taking her break now. Joey followed her to the break room, shaking her head. “It’s not that hard, dumbass just grab a banana on the way out.” Joey didn’t know how her roommate always forgot breakfast. Joey was always starved when she woke up in the morning. Joey sat down across from her and shrugged. “It’s okay. Bland.” She said, about Office Max. Of all of the most boring jobs she could have gotten, this had to be the worst. Office supplies. “Nothing exciting ever happens, it’s just stock, re-stock, re-stock again. Beep, beep, beep.” She said, miming the price tag gun. She unwrapped a sandwich and took a bite. “What time do you get off tonight?” She asked, looking at her watch. Joey still had two more hours after lunch to work, then a one hour long class. Then she was free, finally. “I was thinkin’ we could hit the town, go find a show to go to or something?” She asked, with a shrug.

Lunch break visit @Roxy

Joey had been at Office Max for far too long. She was counting down the minutes to her lunch break, and after that until she got off of work. It was way too early when she got into work that day and she was going to be there for far too long. Luckily she had a few fun coworkers who had no problem having price tag wars and hiding from their manager. It was good times. When it was finally time for lunch, she raced out of there. Joey walked across the street to Arby’s, her favorite fast food, and got a few roast beef sandwiches and curly fries. She walked down a block to Babies R’ Us where her best friend worked and went inside. The place always smelled like diapers and baby powder. Roxy must have gotten used to it after a while but it always made Joey cringe. She’d told Roxanne that she would stop by on her lunch break and that’s what she was doing. She walked around the store for a minute, looking for the girl, and didn’t see her. Finally she spotted her at a customer service counter and walked over to her. It was funny, both of them in their work polos with their plastic name tags. Joey held up the bag of Arby’s. “I come bearing treats, my love.” She said, with a grin. “You take lunch yet? I brought foooooood.” Joey told her, waving the bag that smelled of fries and sandwiches in her face.
